02 Days Ancient Egypt Old Cairo Tour

Dedicating a single trip to view Cairo’s top attraction in two action-packed days allow you to explore a lot. It’s quite important that you do have an Egyptologist guide of which you will be provided under this tour. During this tour you will tour the stunning Giza pyramids and the great Sphinx.
The old fields of Sakkara and the Open-air Museum of Memphis are among the top destinations that you are likely to tour. Gazing at the Tutankhamun golden treasures at the Egyptian Museum are some of the places where you will explore. The other highlights of Old Cairo that you are likely to tour include the Mohammed Ali Pasha Mosque and the Khan El Khalili bazaar.

Itinerary

DAY 1: MEET AND TOUR AROUND THE ANCIENT PYRAMIDS

You will meet with your Egyptologist guide at Cairo or Giza hotel at around 8 am. You will then drive to the UNESCO-listed Giza Pyramid.
The three large pyramids of the Kings are one of the places that you will tour.
Visit the Queens Pyramids in Giza plateau, which are the tombs of the queens, and you will also discover on this day. An additional charge will be organized for those who would like to climb the inside of the Great Pyramid.
After which, you will head to explore the Valley Temple or the iconic Sphinx.
This is usually a 25-minute ride on a camel.
Then you will enjoy some lunch at a local restaurant. After your lunch, you will make a drive to Saqqara to see the Pyramid of Djoser, which is regarded as the oldest Pyramid in Egypt.
See the beautiful reliefs in the Nobles’ Tombs in Saqqara, which will make you gaze at them with awe and surprise.
Your day will end by having a tour of the remains of Egypt’s ancient capital, Memphis.
At around 4 to 5 pm, you will return to your hotel.

DAY 2: TRIP AROUND THE OLD CITY AND MUSEUM

You will be served your breakfast, after which you will be picked up at around 8 AM by your Egyptologist.
You will begin your private tour to the Egyptian Antiquities Museum. This is a home to the world’s largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The treasures of the Pharaohs that were hidden inside the tombs. For thousands of years, rich jewelry and Papyrus documents have been. You still admire with view of the mummies of the long-lost Pharaohs.
You will have your lunch at a restaurant, after which you will embark on your journey for a whirlwind tour of UNESCO UNESCO-listed Old Cairo. This is where you will have to tour the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque, the Coptic Christian Hanging Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
You will then be back at your Hotel at around 4 or 5 pm with the tour.
